Choosing the correct Modified Bitumen Roof Coating

If your modified bitumen roof is properly sloped and does not pond water (which is very rare), our EnergyMax® Acrylic Elastomeric Coating or EnergyGuard® Acrylic Elastomeric Coating is a good choice.

For the majority of modified bitumen roofs out there with minor ponding water and birdbaths, we recommend EnergyGuard® Butyl Elastomeric Coating, EnergyGuard® Silicone Elastomeric Coating.

Due to VOC restrictions, EnergyGuard® Butyl Elastomeric Coating and EnergyGuard® Silicone Elastomeric Coating can’t be shipped to California. Please use our EnergyMax® Silicone Elastomeric Coating instead.
