US Wants to Paint the World White to Save Energy

by Alex on May 27, 2009

On May 26, 2009, at the climate change symposium in London, the US Energy Secretary Steven Chu said the Obama administration wanted to paint roofs an energy-reflecting white.

According to Chu, making roads and roofs a paler color could have the equivalent effect of taking every car in the world off the road for 11 years.

Lexis Roof Coatings can reflect up to 90% of the heat from the sun and extend the service life of your roof 10 or more years.
